At Silverdale Butokukan, instructors help students reach their maximum potential in fitness, flexibility, coordination, and self- defense abilities.
Shihan Labalan holds black belt ranks in multiple martial arts, including judo, kali, kenpo, and karate. Master Labalan is widely known for expertise in knife and stick fighting.
Sensei Tony Adamski Winner of multiple grand championships in kata, including weapons, around the region.
Sensei Doug Wolfard has a background in wrestling, boxing, and jiu jitsu. Winner of multiple grand championships in kumite(fighting) and kata, both empty hand and weapons.
Sensei Steve Harader with over 50 years in martial arts and multiple victories in tournament competition.
Sensei David DiPrete has trained extensively in a variety of martial arts and is a champion competitor in tournaments throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Sensei Ken Parker has a background in boxing and has multiple tournament wins in Washington to his credit, including Grand Champion of the Butokukan Open.
Sensei Tony Hernandez has studied karate for 40+ years, is a career police officer, is an expert at incorporating law enforcement techniques with Butokukan karate.
